First Eleven3connections Shoot a Success!!!

9 03 2011

Well, we made it through the very first Eleven3connections shoot last Sunday and I must say it went very well! Of course we has a lovely model that was totally willing and brought a well thought out selection of outfits that enabled us 3 photographers to get plenty of different looks and many excellent shots! Her name is Krystal Heather, from OKC and though she doesn’t do this professionally, I like to call her the “pro” none the less! She brought with her a very good attitude and was really willing to work with us during the set changes, while we changed the background or the lighting setup, she was a real trooper! Not many times do you find 3 photogs and a model that will work so smoothly, things went very well and finally after about a 5 hour shoot and some welcome pizza, it was over, the first eleven3connections shoot was a success! Here are a couple of my shots of her and I am sure that Subtle Shades and DropD will be posting theirs soon, so enjoy these! Later when I get proficient in the lighting setup, I will post up some but for now here they are:

for this shot, 2 Alien Bees AB800’s, one cam left in a huge softbox, one cam right in a large softbox, 2 AB400’s behind pointed directly at cam

same lighting setup as the picture above…

I loved working with you guys! You were very hospitable and made me feel comfortable, were open to new ideas and made the shoot fun! I don’t think I’ve laughed that much on a shoot before.. I had never shot with more then one photographer before and was really nervous about it but by the end of the shoot it was just like hanging out with some old friends.. Oh and gas mask shoot!!!! 😛 want it!
